Wakaf Che Yeh is the most popular shopping area that must be visited by tourist. Located at Jalan Kuala Krai, it is about 5 minutes from the city center, Wakaf Che Yeh is a town famous with daily and weekly market. This place is actually a huge 24-hours market but more active at the night when sellers or traders set up stalls selling unusual local foods, exotic tropical fruits, fresh produce, cheap clothes, and others. Wakaf Che Yeh is very popular shopping destination and attracts people from all over.
24-hours operation with different purpose. It is a wholesale market in the morning, and become wet market in the late morning and will be the night market in the night.
